Design Thinking
Phoenix School & College System has established a landmark partnership with Design Tech High School @ Oracle — a pioneering Silicon Valley institution known for integrating design thinking since 2013 and AI since 2020.
Through this partnership, PSCS students access the same frameworks used by the world's most innovative organizations. The focus is on moving beyond rote learning to master empathy, rapid prototyping, and iterative problem-solving.

Current Modules
Innovation Certificate
An intensive program that starts with a fast-paced "learn by doing" experience. Students work through real design challenges, complete a guided design studio project, and receive 1-on-1 mentorship from industry professionals.
AI for Creative Problem Solving
Develop AI literacy and explore how artificial intelligence can be applied to complex design challenges. Students learn to use AI tools for ideation, data analysis, prototyping, and testing on real-world projects.
Design Your Future
A Design Studio course that applies the design thinking process to career and personal life choices. Students build a "Future Design Portfolio" showcasing their passions, goals, and prototypes for their next steps.
Internship Accelerator
A virtual internship program for students who have completed the Innovation Certificate. Participants tackle real responsibilities on genuine projects with an organization and industry mentor.
